Care @ Home Mobile Physio
At Care @ Home Mobile Physio, our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to thrive and lead fulfilling lives. We embrace a person-centred approach, delivering care that is thoughtfully tailored to each participant’s unique goals, abilities, and aspirations.
Our skilled physiotherapists and exercise physiologists draw on evidence-based interventions to support mobility, improve physical function, build strength and coordination, and manage pain - empowering patients to engage more fully in daily life and work towards their NDIS or my aged care goals.
Through comprehensive assessments and individualised treatment plans, we provide consistent, compassionate support - fostering progress, promoting independence, and helping each person achieve their full potential.
We provide therapeutic services to plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants, as well as My Aged Care patients, across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast in Queensland; Melbourne, Geelong, and the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria; and Tweed Heads in New South Wales.
FAQ's from our community
What is mobile physiotherapy and exercise physiology?
Mobile physiotherapy and exercise physiology are specialised services where qualified therapists come to you - whether at home, work, or specialised housing - to deliver personalised treatment. This approach offers greater convenience and accessibility, especially for those who may find it difficult to attend a clinic in person.
Do I need a referral to receive mobile physiotherapy or exercise physiology services?
No, a referral is not required to access mobile physiotherapy and exercise physiology services. However, referrals from your NDIS or healthcare provider can be helpful. Submitting an online referral allows us to better understand your needs and ensures your therapy supports are aligned with your goals and fit within your approved budget.
I'm a participant carer, how do I book an appointment for mobile physiotherapy or exercise physiology?
Booking a mobile physiotherapy appointment is easy. Simply contact our team by phone or email, and our friendly administrative staff will guide you through the process. We’ll collect the necessary details and arrange a time that suits you best. If you have referral information available, please have it ready when booking to help us get started promptly.
What services do you offer for NDIS registered participants?
We provide a comprehensive range of physiotherapy and exercise physiology services for NDIS-registered participants and My Aged Care patients. Our services are tailored to support mobility, strength, pain management, and overall functional independence. Each treatment plan is individually designed by our experienced physiotherapists to meet the participant’s unique needs, goals, and lifestyle- helping to epnhance quality of life and long-term well-being.
How is the billing handled for mobile physiotherapy sessions?
The billing for mobile physiotherapy and exercise physiology sessions typically depends on the specific funding arrangements and individual circumstances. For NDIS registered participants, the services may be covered by their NDIS plan. For My Aged Care participants, they may have access to funding under their care package. We recommend contacting our business or your NDIS/My Aged Care representative to discuss the billing process, any applicable fees, and funding options.
